Using your GS2/AR2 to adjust the

Power Multiplier and other settings (NTSC)

The following codes will work on the car in your first garage slot

This is a fairly simple operation, in which you will combine the correct basecodes with the values needed to acheive your desired results. You will have to experiment with different values to get the results wanted for a specific application. Some of the adjustable settings have known limits, while others either have no limits, or they just are not known. I will give the limits where known, along with there respective basecodes. Let's begin by using the horsepower multiplier as an example. The basecode is as follows.

Power Multiplier -----Limits 1-65535

1C041208-????

You will replace the ???? with the value needed for your application. To give you a general idea how it works, use the following values as a guide.

501=1/2x the hp

1001=1x the hp

2001=2x the hp

3001=3x the hp and so on

Lets say you want to increase a cars hp by approximately 6.5 times. Simply enter 6501 in either of the "decimal" boxes in the converter below, by double clicking in the box, and then typing in the number. Now hit your tab key, and the value that shows up in the corresponding "GS2 V2" box is the value code that you will use to replace the ????s. You will see that 6501 will convert to 1456CE82. So your complete code will be:

1C041208 -1456CE82

Easy right?

Here are other settings basecodes that you may want to mess around with. Keep in mind that you can only enter whole numbers into the converter, so to get something like a spring rate of 24.5 you would enter 245, and since there is a decimal point in the spring rate adjustment you will take that into consideration. So even if you are looking for a spring rate of 23 you will need to enter 230 into the converter. Entering 23 would be equal to 2.3. The same rules would apply to gear ratios, to get the code for a gear ratio of 2.497 you would enter 2497. To get the code for a ratio of .604 you would enter 604.

Front DF --- Limit 1-250

1C041274 -????

Rear DF --- Limit 1-250

1C041278 -????

Front Height --- Limit 1-250

1C04129C -????

Rear Height --- Limit 1-250

1C0412A0 -????

Front grip --- This is actually a misnomer(sp?) as it is actually a function of the suspension, rather

1C0412B4 -????

Rear grip --- than tire grip. I don't recommend changing grip values unless you are building a drag car.

1C0412B8 -????

R gear

1C041240 -????

1st gear

1C041244 -????

2nd gear

1C041248 -????

3rd gear

1C04124C -????

4th gear

1C041250 -????

5th gear

1C041254 -????

6th gear

1C041258 -????

Final Drive

1C041260 -????

Front Brakes Adjustment

1C04126C -????

Rear Brakes Adjustment

1C041270 -????
